The team is trying to keep the decision quiet, but several current and former big dancers confirmed it to Riptide, and one of them even started a Facebook page to try to change the team's mind.Join the Save the Manatees Facebook page here. Now that the Marlins have their new fugly uniforms in stores, they can ditch one of their more embarrassing projects while maintaining their SMHAR (shake my heads above replacement team).

I'm so glad they are getting rid of the manatees. In my opinion, it was one of the dumbest ideas ever. It's not even funny and it sends the wrong message to people, kids especially, that it's funny to be fat. I also think a few of them fatso's need to come out of the closet. Good riddance.
